The Burana Tower is a historic minaret located near the town of Tokmok in northern Kyrgyzstan. Dating back to the 11th century, it is one of the few remaining structures of the ancient city of Balasagun, once an important stop on the Silk Road. The tower stands 24 meters tall and is surrounded by a complex of ruins, including foundations of ancient buildings and stone petroglyphs. The site offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into the region‘s history and an opportunity to climb the tower for panoramic views of the surrounding Chuy Valley.
