Peak Lenin is considered one of the easiest 7,000-meter peaks to climb. The ascent takes approximately three weeks, including travel to and from the mountain. During our Pamir crossings by mountain bike, we usually end our journey at the foot of Peak Lenin, in the yurt camp at Tulpar Köl Lake. The surrounding mountain scenery is so spectacular that we always take at least a full day to rest there. Often, just a short walk to the "Onion Meadow" above the base camp is enough. The landscape is so breathtaking that one can never get enough of it.
